Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic 1CREW AUTO XPERTS team. 1CREW AUTO XPERTS is a shop to learn and a shop to teach. We have 2 technicians ages 25 through to 40 at various stages in their automotive career. We are not a flat rate shop each person looks out for each other and helps out on all jobs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment. This role offers the opportunity to perform a wide range of repairs and services, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship and excellent service. The technician must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to maintaining high standards of vehicle care. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive automotive repairs including engine diagnostics, brake repairs, suspension work, and electrical systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment to identify issues and execute repairs.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and repair guides to accurately diagnose problems.
- Weld and perform mechanical modifications or assembly as needed for specific repairs or upgrades.
- Lift heavy components safely and efficiently during repair procedures.
- Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle serviced.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines.
- Take ownership of your repair and strive to ensure all necessary components are completed to ensure customer satisfaction and zero return defects.
Qualifications
- 5 years + previous experience in the automotive trade; license required.
- Valid Automotive Service Technician license or certification.
- Proven dealership experience is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Experience with welding and vehicle assembly is a plus.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
