Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Injection Moulding Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Prior experience in manufacturing environments, especially with machinery and quality inspection, is highly valued. Duties
- Set up, operate, and monitor injection moulding machines to ensure optimal production output.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CNC systems.
- Conduct quality inspections using calipers and other hand tools to verify dimensions and specifications.
- Adjust machine parameters according to process requirements, utilizing basic math skills for calculations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to lean manufacturing principles.
- Assist with assembly processes as needed, ensuring parts meet quality standards.
- Use forklift and warehouse experience for material handling and inventory management.
- Document production data accurately and report any issues or deviations promptly.
Skills
- Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CNC machinery such as CNC lathe and CNC systems.
- Mechanical knowledge related to machining, hand tools, and equipment maintenance.
- Experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on quality inspection and assembly processes.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely within warehouse settings.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency.
- Basic math skills for measurements and process adjustments.
- Familiarity with calipers and other precision measurement tools.
- Warehouse experience is a plus, along with an understanding of quality control standards.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
