Job Summary
We are seeking a professional, hands-on Loss Prevention Supervisor to support daily loss prevention operations across Calgary, Alberta and the immediate surrounding area. This role is responsible for leading floor-level loss prevention activity, supporting team development, delivering in-person classroom training using established curriculum, monitoring operational standards, and helping maintain a safe, compliant, and customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide active loss prevention leadership on the sales floor, including observation, deterrence, coaching, and support during daily operations.
· Supervise, coach, and support loss prevention personnel to ensure consistent performance, professionalism, and adherence to company procedures.
· Deliver in-person classroom training sessions using approved curriculum, materials, and facilitation standards.
· Support onboarding and ongoing development for new and existing team members, including floor-based coaching and practical skills reinforcement.
· Conduct quality control checks to ensure loss prevention processes, reports, documentation, and incident handling meet company expectations.
· Assist with investigations, incident response, report writing, evidence handling, and follow-up actions in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
· Monitor compliance with safety, security, customer service, and operational procedures.
· Maintain accurate records of training completion, coaching conversations, audits, incidents, and corrective actions.
· Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers, employees, management, contractors, and law enforcement when required.
Qualifications & Skills
· Previous experience of 3 years in loss prevention\asset protection
· Prior supervisory, team lead, coaching, or training experience is strongly preferred.
· Comfortable working directly on the floor in a visible, active, and customer-facing environment.
· Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills for classroom and one-on-one training.
· Ability to follow and deliver established curriculum while adapting explanations to different learning styles.
· Excellent judgment, professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
· Strong report-writing, documentation, and follow-up skills.
· Ability to identify trends, evaluate performance, and provide constructive feedback.
· Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and occasional travel within Calgary and nearby communities as required.
· Valid Alberta security licence or eligibility to obtain one may be required, depending on assignment and company requirements.
Working Conditions
This position requires regular time on the sales floor, in training rooms, and at assigned operating locations. The successful candidate must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods, responding to operational needs, and travelling within Calgary and the surrounding area when required.

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
