Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Order Assembler to join our warehouse team on the Night Premium Shift. This role involves assembling, loading, and preparing orders for shipment in a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely. Duties
- Accurately pick and assemble orders using warehouse management systems and order picker equipment
- Load and unload shipments utilizing forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, or other heavy equipment
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks in compliance with safety protocols
- Conduct inventory checks and ensure correct item placement during order assembly
- Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including labeling and documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment used during order assembly
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse distribution or logistics experience preferred
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or clamp trucks is highly desirable
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout shifts
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and assembly
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, including load & unload operations
- Background in construction or experience with heavy equipment operation is advantageous
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to follow safety protocols at all times
This role is vital to ensuring efficient order fulfillment within our distribution center. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and committed to maintaining a safe working environment. This work is performed in a frozen environment.
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
