Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating heavy equipment, including excavators, dozers, loaders, and small equipment to support various construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and safety protocols to ensure efficient and safe operations on-site. The successful candidate will play a vital role in executing complex construction tasks with precision and professionalism.
Duties
- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, graders, and backhoes to perform excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Support site development by moving materials and preparing the ground for construction activities
- Follow safety procedures and regulations to maintain a secure work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and equipment usage
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, rock trucks, and backhoes in a construction setting.
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Commercial driving license preferred.
- Knowledge of ground disturbance, road building, bulk excavation, sloping, grading, reading grade and laser, survey, and other construction techniques are assets.
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and adhere to project deadlines
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
