Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our long-standing Lethbridge based construction and manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will read the whole posting and possess a min of 10 years carpentry and general construction experience, while providing quality and the attention to detail that reflects our company brand.
Duties:
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction projects
- Execute door, window installation or framing in your sleep with reasonable speed and COMPLETE accuracy. (Among other tasks an experienced Carpenter would know with 10 years or more experience.)
- Following safety protocols related to construction sites
- Fully capable to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
Requirements, NO exceptions:
- CURRENTLY IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA, READY TO WORK.
- FLUENT ENGLISH; SPEECH AND WRITTEN.
- 10 years minimum experience in carpentry and general construction knowledge.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to project changes.
The successful candidate doesn't need long lists of "the Obvious."
Pay: $29.25-$45.00 per hour
