What we’re looking for
Our expanding team needs an energetic, conscientious and customer-oriented individual with experience in marketing and sales to support our customers around the world. To thrive in this critical role, you will have solid written and oral communications skills, strong attention to detail and the ability and curiosity to learn anatomy and surgical procedure terminology. In addition to sales and marketing, you enjoy taking on a wide range of responsibilities including, managing orders, liaising with our customers and assisting the customer service and production teams.
Position Responsibilities
- Enter orders taken from customers via phone, email and online into database system. Update company’s database and order entry system
- Generate quotes and invoices to be provided to customers
- Prospect for new customers
- Serve as a liaison between customers and production to ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating communications, following up with problems, and serving as a contact point for customers
- Send acknowledgments to customers; verify ship dates with customers
- Work with the customer service team to keep the HubSpot CRM up to date
- Provide high level of customer service
- Once trained, work to prospect and increase outbound sales
- Work with sales team on improved marketing and collateral to aid sales
- Assist at local trade shows and conferences as required

Qualifications
- 2-4 Year Business and Marketing Diploma or University Degree in relevant areas
- Experience sales prospecting or cold call sales (desired)
- Experience in marketing (desired)
- Exposure to healthcare or medical device (desired)
- Software skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- HubSpot CRM experience highly desired
- This position is funded by a National Research Council grant that requires the candidate to be:
- 15 to 30 years of age at the start of the position
- A post-secondary graduate
- A Canadian citizen, granted permanent resident status by the Government of Canada (US Visa required for travel)
- Ability to meet USA Immigration entrance requirements
Other Requirements
- Stand / sit / walk 8 hrs per day
- Availability to occasionally work additional hours if necessary
