We're looking for professional, reliable Movers who take pride in their work and show up ready to go.
The Role
This is a hands-on moving role at its core. You'll move furniture from residential and commercial locations, wrap and pack items so nothing gets damaged, disassemble and reassemble as needed, and handle deliveries. Careful, detailed work is what sets our crews apart, and it's what clients remember.
You'll also be one of the faces of Six Moving on every job, so how you show up matters. When the day calls for it, you'll drive our trucks safely and keep your equipment clean and accounted for. If you take pride in doing the job well and treat clients' belongings like your own, you'll fit right in.
Responsibilities
- Moving furniture from residential and commercial locations
- Wrapping, packing, disassembling, and reassembling items to prevent damage
- Handling deliveries
- Introducing yourself and interacting professionally with clients
- Carrying a friendly, helpful approach with every client
- Being punctual and arriving onsite on time, ready to work
- Keeping an equipment inventory and keeping it clean
- Driving trucks safely when required
What We Expect
- Ability to lift heavy items (at least 50 lbs) for extended periods, while balancing, climbing, kneeling, and walking
- Strong work ethic and a professional attitude
- Respectful, friendly communication with clients and team
- Punctual and dependable, ready to work
- Attention to detail when handling client belongings
Assets
- Valid Full G License
- Clean driver's abstract
- Minimum 1 year of experience driving 20 to 26 ft trucks
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Smartphone with data (required for job updates, inspections, and daily tasks)
