Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness at one of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment for visitors. This role is essential in supporting the overall operations of our organization by ensuring that all areas are well-maintained and presentable. This position is part-time (24 hours a week)
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of office, party room, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct deep cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, window washing, and floor polishing as needed
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and break areas
- Maintain cleanliness of trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial work
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums etc
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Good organizational skills to manage daily tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
