We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Seafood Filleters to join our processing team. The successful candidates will be responsible for filleting, trimming, cleaning, and preparing various types of fish and seafood to quality and safety standards. The role requires precision, speed, and knowledge of fish species and knife handling techniques.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Fillet, pin bone, and portion a variety of seafood species (e.g. salmon, groundfish, halibut, and other species) according to company and customer specifications.
- Inspect fish for quality, size, and defects; discard or report any substandard products.
- Operate knives and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain clean workstations and follow hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Package and label seafood products accurately for shipping and retail.
- Comply with health and safety regulations including HACCP procedures.
- Report equipment malfunction or quality concerns to supervisor.
- Work collaboratively in a fast-past team environment.
- Additional duties as required.
Experience/Qualifications
- Previous experience as a filleter or in seafood/fish processing is required.
- Excellent knife skills and ability to work with speed and accuracy.
- Knowledge of seafood species and basic food safety practices.
- Fluent in English (Spoken and written).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Fast-paced environment requiring efficiency and attention to detail.
- Highly repetitive task environment.
- Work performed in a refrigerated, cold-climate setting.
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Flexible to work various shifts and occasional weekends.

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
