This is your opportunity to join a well established and growing full service transportation company. You will perform preventative maintenance and mechanical service on a wide range of trucks and trailers.
There are night and weekend shifts available - full time hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform repair and service work on van bodies, trailers, roll up and barn doors, tailgates and ramps
- Regular safety checks, inspections and regular maintenance on trucks and trailers
- Install and replace various transportation equipment components
- Read and interpret schematics for work orders
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment and tools
- Document and report defective products
Qualifications
- 310T, or 310J certification
- 5+ years experience as a licenced mechanic working on trucks and/or trailers (Class 3-8)
- Able and willing to lift and/or move objects up to 50kg, operate tools and power tools
- Able and willing to work various shifts
