We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Temporary Sales Associate to join our retail team. Duties
- Assist customers with product selections and provide engaging product demonstrations, especially in technology sales.
- Perform merchandising duties to ensure attractive and organized product displays.
- Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all customer needs are met promptly during busy periods.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and properly displayed.
- Use phone etiquette skills to answer customer inquiries professionally and courteously.
- Support the team with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or cashiering is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Experience with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling.
- Ability to perform product demos confidently, especially in technology or electronics sectors.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing individual responsibilities efficiently.
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills essential for engaging with diverse customers.
