Macdonalds Prescriptions #4 is an independent pharmacy offering traditional pharmacy services and specializing in compounding.
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our dynamic pharmacy team. This is a permanent position for a part time pharmacy assistant averaging 15 hours per week. There is opportunity for more hours to be offered as we will need staff holiday coverage through May to August. The position requires strong customer service skills and being comfortable interacting with the public. The position includes administrative duties, pharmacy maintenance and potentially some basic compounding opportunities.
We are located in the heart of Vancouver's medical district with good transit service access. We are open 9-5:30 Monday to Friday and Saturdays 9-1. We are closed on Sundays and all statutory holidays.
Key responsibilities: accurate prescription filling
customer service
operating the cash register
receiving inventory and shelf stocking
organizing deliveries and mailing
general workplace maintenance
Required experience: customer service (1 year) and pharmacy ( 1 year). High school education.
Qualifications: Strong English communication skills (written & verbal)
Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette
Enthusiastic and eager to learn
High attention to detail, efficiency and time management
Good problem-solving skills
Live in the Lower Mainland
