Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at TILIX. This role is essential in booking commercial vehicle outfitting products, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and willingness to learn and develope sale skills in the niche, and the ability to engage customers effectively. Pay is compensated in the form of an hourly wage and commision
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Assist customers in selecting products, offering knowledgeable advice, and demonstrating features through product demos when applicable
- Conduct sales transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities while meeting customer needs
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring product availability
- Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in-person with professionalism and courtesy
- Promote store promotions, loyalty programs, and new product launches to enhance sales performance
- Support store organization through effective time management and organizational skills
Skills
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively in French and English
- Strong background in sales, including experience with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling
- Some knowledge of automotive speciality and aftermarket industry; technical sales techniques is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening skills
- Demonstrated ability in upselling, merchandising, and customer service excellence
- Basic math skills for transaction accuracy and for quotations
- Strong organizational skills to manage time efficiently for startup phase of our business
- Previous experince in technical sales is an asset, however training for product familiarization and services provided
