About Us: Arquette Tree Service is a professional tree care company serving residential and commercial clients in Windsor-Essex and Chatham Kent. We pride ourselves on safe and proficient work practices, quality equipment, and excellent customer service. We are currently looking to add a skilled and experienced Arborist to our growing team.
Position Overview: The 4+ Year Arborist is a fully developed, experienced tree care professional responsible for carrying out all aspects of arboricultural work independently, including complex tree removals, advanced climbing operations, pruning, rigging, and safe operation of aerial lifts and equipment. This role requires a strong track record of safety, efficiency, and high-quality workmanship, along with the ability to lead job sites and support the development of less experienced crew members. ISA Certified Arborist designation is considered a strong asset and reflects advanced knowledge of tree biology, risk assessment, and industry best practices. The Arborist is expected to represent the company professionally on all job sites, communicate effectively with clients and team members, and consistently uphold company standards for safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario A-Restricted License or greater
- Proven experience in tree removal and pruning
- Strong climbing and rigging experience
- Knowledge of Ontario safety regulations and best practices
- Experience operating chainsaws, chippers and in Spider Lifts/ Bucket Trucks
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions
- Reliable, professional, and safety-focused
- Good communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform tree removals and pruning
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Maintain a safe and organised job site
- Inspect and maintain equipment
- Communicate professionally with customers and crew members
- Capable of leading job sites and mentoring apprentices
