Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Builder Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to coordinate various teams and manage project workflows effectively.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth workflow
- Review blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of designs
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions
- Oversee quality control measures to maintain high standards throughout the construction process
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and assist in construction estimating as needed
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for scheduling, documentation, and communication
- Lead site meetings, provide clear instructions, and supervise team members to ensure productivity
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and conduct regular safety inspections
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in the construction industry with a strong understanding of building processes
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and other relevant tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating documents
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and budgeting practices within construction projects
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and subcontractors effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in project planning and execution
- Familiarity with construction safety standards and protocols
- Relevant experience in construction management or related field is preferred
