We are currently hiring for ONE/Part-time escape game associate. This position will begin with 1-2 shifts a week training. Once the associate has demonstrated the skills and capacity, there will be more shifts available. On call shifts are also available- and will be discussed during the interview process. This position is best suited for someone wanting additional income, students needing after school work or someone who just loves games and puzzles!
General Background on Trapped
Trapped is an interactive real-life escape game in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Individuals are locked into a room and work together using various clues to solve puzzles in order to escape before time runs out.
Job Responsibilities:
The Escape Game Associate will:
Ensure guests receive the desired experience as outlined by management.
Greet guests and manage reservations and payments
Manage the escape game experience: operating surveillance equipment, controlling game clock and communicating clues when asked.
Move quickly, multitask
Meticulously reset game rooms with great attention to detail.
Adapt and overcome issues with quick thinking and problem solving.
Assist with computer work including managing reservation system, printing off game materials and data entry, answering phone.
Manage opening and closing operational responsibilities including light cleaning
Build and maintain a solid customer following by ensuring an optimal brand experience.
Conduct basic repairs in game rooms ( screwing, drilling, gluing, painting etc..)
Contribute a helping hand in constructing new game rooms and teardown of existing game rooms.
Create fun social media content shared across multiple platforms.
Organize and execute changes, promotions. Maintain operational efficiency.
Put away stock, and count inventory

- You would be required to conduct repairs on Escape Rooms and items related. Are you comfortable and proficient in using basic tools like: Drills, Impact Drivers, Stud Finder, Glue Guns, Bolt Cutters etc..?
- Escape Associates are required to speak to groups sizes between 2-20 people regularly. Are you capable of doing this in a fun and energetic manner?

- We serve alcohol beverages. You must be 18 years of age or older...Are you?
- Do you have your own automobile transportation that allows you to accept call-ins with short notice and can arrive in 15 minutes or less to the job? Walking, bicycle and relying on other people to get you to and from work is not sufficient.
- Are you available between 4pm-12am Weekdays and from 12pm -12am Saturday and 12-8pm Sundays?
