Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. Previous custodial or cleaning experience is preferred, especially in commercial cleaning settings. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to sanitation and cleanliness
Skills
- Prior custodial or cleaning experience preferred, especially in commercial cleaning environments
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills for reporting issues or requesting supplies when necessary
