Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and care for children in their home environment, ensuring safety at all times
- Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs and preferences
- Engage children in educational activities, playtime, and age-appropriate teaching to support their development
- Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, nap times, and hygiene practices
- Maintain a clean and organized living space by performing regular cleaning tasks related to childcare
- Adapt caregiving approaches to meet the individual needs of children with disabilities or special requirements
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children’s progress, activities, and any concerns
Skills
- Proven experience working with children across various age groups in a caregiving or teaching capacity
- Ability to cook nutritious meals and snacks suitable for children’s dietary restrictions or preferences
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating patience and adaptability
- Strong cleaning skills to maintain a safe, hygienic environment for children
- Knowledge of caregiving best practices including safety protocols, child development milestones, and emergency procedures
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and support children's learning journeys
- Passionate about teaching, nurturing, and creating positive experiences that foster growth and confidence
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
