Job Profile:
As a part-time Food Court Cleaner of the Seaway Mall you are responsible for providing efficient and effective cleaning support and other duties to ensure that the food court is maintained as a healthy, safe and sanitary environment for all customers to enjoy their meals.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Supervisor of the Food Court, you will perform a variety of duties during your shift, related to the cleaning of the Food Court. Duties include the following:
· Clean, wash, dust, sweep and mop all areas of the Food Court and designated back hallways.
· Empty and reline waste bins, transporting the waste material to designated collection points.
· Clean and clear all trays.
· Clean all tables, chairs, garbage and recycling bins in Food Court area.
· Clean and sanitize restrooms using established practices and procedures.
· Replenishing of washroom items are needed (i.e. hand soap, toilet paper etc.)
· Clean, wash, dust plants and archways of the food court.
· Clean and proper storage of food court supplies.
· Understand and follow safe procedures regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. (For further information also see MSDS for proper handling, storing, first aid measures, etc.);
· Report any lost items to Customer Service.
· Report any hazards, damaged equipment or property to your Supervisor in a timely manner.
· Ensure cleaning materials and supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner.
· Other duties as assigned .
Hours of Work:
· Evening shift, weekends
Rate of Pay:
· $18.00 per hour
