The bigger picture
We’re looking for a motivated and dependable individual to support our Kelliher and Ituna Branches as a permanent part-time Member Services Representative I (MSR I). Travel is required for this role.
As the first point of contact for members, you will provide everyday banking services and products to meet members’ immediate needs. Through conversations, you will get to know our members, and assist them in reaching their financial goals. If you have an interest in the financial industry but limited experience, all you need is a high school diploma! Many of our employees started out in other industries. We are looking for team members who care about helping our members and proactively provide solutions to support their financial needs. If you want to learn and grow, we will be there to train and support your development.
How you’ll be spending your time
- Proactively identifying and responding to members’ needs to improve their financial well-being and build rapport.
- Providing a variety of services related to the promotion and sales of cash and non-cash financial services, solutions and alternatives such as opening up memberships and deposit accounts, including terms, RRSP’s and TFSA’s.
- Promoting and offering credit union products and services and, when appropriate referring members to Financial Service Advisors to further develop relationships.
- Following internal policies, procedures and processes; all the while maintaining confidentiality.
- Identifying suspicious transactions or interactions and responding appropriately.

The experience you bring
- Grade 12 education is the minimum requirement for this position.
- Experience in sales, customer service or a related field.
Hourly range
$22.18 - $27.73
