Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stone Fabrication and Saw Worker to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and preparing natural and engineered stone materials for a variety of construction, architectural, and millwork projects. Your expertise will ensure precision and quality in every piece, contributing to the creation of stunning stone installations. Responsibilities
- Operate saws, CNC machines, hand tools, and power tools to cut and shape stone materials accurately according to project specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings using AutoCAD or similar design software to ensure precise fabrication
- Measure materials with calipers and other precision tools to maintain strict quality standards
- Set up and program CNC machinery for complex cuts and custom designs in stone fabrication
- Prepare materials by grinding, polishing, and finishing surfaces to achieve desired aesthetics
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse or fabrication shop environment
- Follow safety protocols diligently when handling heavy materials, operating machinery, or working at heights
Requirements
- Prior experience in manufacturing, machining, or woodworking environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with AutoCAD for reading technical drawings and CNC programming is preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is a plus
- Proficiency with calipers, hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment
- Knowledge of construction or carpentry principles related to millwork or stone installation
- Warehouse experience demonstrating ability to manage materials efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with excellent measurement skills using calipers or similar tools
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures diligently
