STATS Group is a global leader in pipeline intervention and isolation technology, supporting the energy industry with innovative engineering solutions. We are currently looking for a skilled Fitter to join our fabrication team in Edmonton.

What You'll Do
As a Fitter, you'll be responsible for accurately laying out, fitting, and assembling piping, pressure-containing equipment, structural components, and fabricated assemblies used in our specialized pipeline isolation tools.
Responsibilities include:
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications
- Layout and fit pipe, flanges, valves, structural steel, and fabricated assemblies
- Measure and verify tolerances using precision measuring tools
- Prepare materials for welding through cutting, grinding, beveling, and alignment
- Perform tack welding (where qualified)
- Operate fabrication equipment including plasma cutters, saws, magnetic drills, and hand tools
- Work closely with welders, inspectors, and production personnel
- Perform trial fit-ups and ensure assemblies meet quality standards before welding
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures
What We're Looking For
- Journeyperson Pipefitter, Steamfitter, Metal Fabricator (Fitter), or equivalent trade certification preferred
- Relevant fabrication and fitting experience will be considered
- Experience reading fabrication drawings and blueprints
- Strong understanding of fabrication methods and welding preparation
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
- Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts is considered an asset
