Window Cleaning & Floor Care Technician
Job Overview
Priority One Maintenance (POM) is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our growing team.
We specialize in professional residential and commercial window cleaning, construction clean-up, and commercial floor care throughout the Edmonton area.
This is a physically active position that offers variety every day. One day you may be cleaning the windows of a custom home, the next you could be stripping and waxing floors in a warehouse or commercial building.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working outdoors, and wants to build a long-term career with a growing local company.
Responsibilities
- Residential and commercial window cleaning
- Construction window cleaning
- Screen and track cleaning
- Ladder work
- Floor stripping and waxing
- Commercial floor scrubbing and burnishing
- Warehouse and shop floor cleaning
- Equipment setup and maintenance
- Providing professional customer service on every job site
- Working safely and efficiently as part of a team
What We’re Looking For
- Positive attitude
- Strong work ethic
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Comfortable working on ladders
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s licence preferred
- Experience is an asset but not required—we will train the right person.
Important Scheduling Expectations
Spring and summer are our busiest months.
During peak season, longer work weeks and weekend work are a normal part of this position. Scheduling is completed in accordance with Alberta Employment Standards and business needs.
If you’re looking for every weekend off during the summer, this position likely isn’t the right fit.
If you enjoy staying busy during the summer and appreciate a slower winter season, you’ll fit in well.
