We are currently looking for a dependable, hardworking, and motivated individual to join our bakery team. This position involves a variety of physically demanding tasks and plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient bakery environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, values cleanliness, and enjoys working as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 25 kg, including flour bags, dough, and baking trays
- Safely handle and remove hot, heavy bread pans from ovens
- Stand and work on your feet for extended periods during shifts
- Complete cleaning and sanitizing duties at the beginning and end of each shift
- Clean washrooms, bakery equipment, floors, utensils, and work areas
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures
- Assist with general bakery preparation and production tasks as needed
- Communicate effectively in English with team members and supervisors
Qualifications
- Previous bakery experience is required
- Physically capable of heavy lifting and performing active work throughout the shift
- Reliable, punctual, respectful, and professional
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Willing to take initiative and follow instructions carefully
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail
Schedule Requirements
Shifts may range from early mornings to late evenings (6:30 AM – 9:00 PM). Applicants must be available to work weekends and overtime when required.
