Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Reach Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling the movement, storage, and organization of goods within the warehouse using a reach forklift. Your expertise will ensure accurate order picking, inventory management, and safe operation of equipment. Location: Mississauga
Shift: 3:30pm to 12 am (Afternoon)
Pay: $19 + depending upon experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate reach forklifts safely and efficiently to move products within the warehouse
- Perform order picking tasks accurately using reach trucks and order pickers
- Utilize clamp trucks and other material handling equipment as needed for heavy lifting
- Maintain precise inventory records through the warehouse management system
- Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and functionality
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods
- Support warehouse distribution processes by organizing stock locations and replenishing supplies
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and injuries
- Collaborate with team members to optimize storage layouts and workflow efficiency
- Perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and order accuracy
Experience:
- Proven experience operating reach forklifts in a warehouse environment
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and logistics operations
- Experience using clamp trucks, order pickers, and other material handling equipment
- Mechanical knowledge related to forklift maintenance and troubleshooting
- Previous exposure to warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and data entry
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
