About the Role
Our client is seeking a Corporate Legal Assistant to join its Toronto office. Supporting a busy and well regarded lawyer, you will play an integral role in managing client matters, preparing legal documentation, coordinating transactions, and maintaining corporate records. The practice focuses on supporting on complex tax related matters for private businesses, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing, editing, and organizing legal and corporate documentation
- Managing corporate records and minute books
- Coordinating filings and registrations
- Assisting with transactional and estate planning matters
- Liaising with clients, accountants, and other professional advisors
- Managing calendars, deadlines, and correspondence
- Supporting lawyers with administrative and practice management duties

What You Bring
- Previous experience (1+ year) as a Legal Assistant supporting corporate or tax related legal matters
- Strong document management and organizational skills
- Experience maintaining corporate records and assisting with corporate transactions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a professional, deadline driven environment
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
