Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Previous restaurant experience and knowledge of POS systems are preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. The Server will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests through excellent hospitality and efficient service.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are consistently maintained
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
- Manage time effectively during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Provide guest services by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns professionally
- Maintain a clean dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling
- Ability to upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and sales revenue
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus but not required
- Effective communication skills for working with team members and interacting with guests
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
