Role Description: The Jr. Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Scarborough, ON, responsible for supporting daily sales activities and delivering excellent customer service. This role includes greeting customers, understanding their needs, recommending suitable products, and assisting with purchases and returns. The Jr. Sales Executive helps maintain organized, visually appealing product displays, ensures adequate stock levels, and supports in-store promotions and events. The role also involves processing transactions, handling basic customer inquiries, and collaborating with senior sales staff to meet sales targets and store objectives. The Jr. Sales Executive is expected to learn product features, follow company policies, and contribute to a safe and welcoming store environment.
Qualifications:
- Ability to provide friendly, professional customer service and build rapport with diverse customers.
- Basic sales skills, including product recommendation, upselling, and closing transactions.
- Strong communication skills to explain product features clearly and respond to customer questions.
- Comfort with handling point-of-sale systems, cash, and card transactions accurately.
- Interest in sports, fitness, or outdoor activities and willingness to learn about related products.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and maintain store cleanliness and organization.
- Team-oriented mindset with reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to supporting colleagues.
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous retail or customer-facing experience is an asset but not required.
Pay: $36,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
