We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage and develop repair plans to restore vehicles to factory standards
- Perform body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively
- Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure repairs meet safety and aesthetic standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair progress
Experience
- Previous dealership experience in auto body repair is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment
- Experience with automotive repair processes including dent removal, painting prep, and frame straightening
- Mechanic experience is considered an asset but not mandatory
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
