Job Summary
Bourgault Industries is seeking an Entry Level Production Engineer to join our team in St. Brieux, SK. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing processes and tooling improvements to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. You will lead projects to streamline workflows, eliminate waste, and optimize production processes while analyzing performance data to identify bottlenecks. Additionally, you will develop standard work and conduct time studies to support data-driven decision-making and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Design processes or tooling to improve safety, quality, productivity or cost issues
- Develop, maintain, and support continuous improvement culture using lean tools, focusing on the elimination of waste while striving to provide increased value to our customers, both internal and external
- Manage projects aimed at improving process flow while optimizing space, quality, safety and ergonomics
- Gauge production performance, identify bottlenecks and suggest/implement changes as required
- Develop and document standard work, including work methods and cell layouts
- Conduct time studies to develop base times or evaluate different processes.
Academic/Education Requirements
- Engineering degree or diploma in Mechanical or Industrial fields (New grads are encouraged to apply)
Required Skills/Experience
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft office and 3D CAD(SolidWorks preferred)
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- High degree of analytical thought and creativity
- Effective trouble -shotting & problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is an asset
- Willing to relocate to St. Brieux, SK

Wage Range
$29.90-$46.35 – Starting Wage is dependent on experience
