O.J. Industrial Maintenance
O.J. Industrial Maintenance specializes in the construction, installation, repair and maintenance of siphons, tailings lines, slurry lines and all light civil work for the oil industry. In addition to our design and construction capabilities and our involvement in various heavy oil recovery projects, OJIM’s professional research center leads the industry with cutting edge developments, such as new welding technologies. We focus on building strong relationships and providing customer satisfaction, while helping our clients meet their environment obligations.
Piping Foreman
Key Responsibilities:
Build pipe and install pipe spools and structural members.
Able to run crew up to 10 (Laborers, Welders, Operators)
Experience with Pipe Size 2" to 24" (Carbon Steel & HDPE)
Experience with bolting up pipe and pumps.
Ability to direct crews and equipment (Side booms, telehandlers, loaders, trucks)
Take direction from superintendents.
Safety
Lead meetings, tool box talks, FLHA.
Report near miss, infractions and observations.
Communicate to promote a safe working environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Basic Safety Orientation (BSO) or OSSA Regional (ROP) or Enforme Common Safety
Intermediate Wildlife Awareness with Bear Spray (Asset)
Pipeline Experience
Equipment operation knowledge and experience.
Knowledge of general duties.
Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and able to quickly ascend or descend a vertical ladder.
Drivers License (Class 5)
