Event Support Volunteer: Full job description
The Event Support Volunteer works as part of a team to help create a positive, organized, and engaging event experience for all participants.
As the Event Support Volunteer, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the planning, coordination, and delivery of Alzheimer Society events
- Acting as a positive and professional ambassador, helping to strengthen community partnerships and expand local support
- Connecting with local businesses to share information, build partnerships, and seek support through sponsorships, donations, or participation in events
- Supporting volunteer recruitment efforts to determine potential ways to recruit event day volunteers.

What we're looking for
You have experience with event planning and enjoy engaging with your community. The ideal candidate for this volunteer role has a positive attitude, communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong sense of self-motivation and time management.
Knowledge and/or experience in any of the role responsibilities is considered an asset.

Your commitment
- Report to Becky MacDonald, Community Development Manager
- Attending local committee meetings (generally bi-weekly to monthly).
- Independent role work/responsibilities (hours TBD - increased workload within two to three months of the date of the event).
- Must be available at the time of the event (TBD)
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bracebridge, ON P1L 1S2
