Job Summary
iKidz Childcare Centre is seeking a dedicated, nurturing, and professional Infant & Toddler Educator to join our team. We are a licensed Islamic childcare centre committed to providing high-quality, play-based early learning in a structured and caring environment.
Our program is inspired by Flight, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia approaches, with a focus on play-based learning, independence, and meaningful exploration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and responsive care to toddlers (19 months – 3 years) and/or infants (12–18 months)
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and language development
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Follow daily routines including meals, diapering/toileting, naps, and transitions
- Build positive relationships with families and coworkers
- Follow all licensing regulations and centre policies
- Observe, document, and support children’s developmental milestones and learning
Qualifications
- ECE Certification (Level 2 or 3)
- Valid Childcare First Aid & CPR
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with infants and/or toddlers
- Must be bilingual in English and Arabic
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
