Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical systems, construction, and renovation projects. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across various facilities, ensuring safety and compliance with all relevant codes and standards. The Journeyman Electrician will play a critical role in supporting ongoing projects and operational needs with professionalism and technical expertise.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to accurately install or repair electrical systems.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, panels, and equipment in industrial settings.
- Work with low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and power tools to complete electrical tasks efficiently.
- Assist with renovation and construction projects by installing new electrical infrastructure or upgrading existing systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform installation and repair work.
- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and technical manuals, then implement effective solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians, engineers, or project managers to complete projects on time.
Requirements
- Valid journeyman electrician license or certification.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in construction-related electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Experience working with low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Familiarity with renovation projects and installation of new electrical infrastructure.
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatile problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.

Pay: $45.00 per hour
