Integra Tire Penticton is a family run shop with two sides to what we do: tire sales and service, and full mechanical repairs including brakes, engine, and general maintenance. We're hiring an experienced Service Advisor, full time, starting ASAP. This opening is available because we're growing our service side.
Pay: $20 to $28 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: 4 days on, 3 days off, 10 hour shifts (may include Saturdays)
What you'll do:
- Manage the write-up process from greeting the customer through to close
- Provide tire quotes and check tire condition to recommend the right service or replacement
- Walk customers through recommended repairs and pricing in plain, honest language, no upselling for the sake of it
- Coordinate work between customers and technicians so nothing sits idle on the shop floor
- Build the kind of relationships that bring customers back for their next set of tires or their next service
What you bring:
- Minimum 1 full year of experience as a service advisor or service writer
- Able to explain vehicle issues to customers without jargon, and without talking down to them
- Protractor experience is a plus, not a requirement, we'll train you on it
