Pratt's Compounding Pharmacy is seeking a motivated, patient-focused Licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team. Whether you are looking for full-time or part-time employment, we offer a supportive work environment where your skills and expertise are valued.
Located directly across from Royal Inland Hospital, Pratt's Compounding Pharmacy is an independently owned pharmacy specializing in patient-centred care, complex medication management, and high-quality compounding services. What You'll Do
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications in accordance with College of Pharmacists of BC standards.
- Perform final technical checks and work to your full scope of practice.
- Manage prescription processing, inventory control, ordering, receiving, and narcotic records.
- Assist with blister packaging and medication organization programs.
- Support our non-sterile compounding laboratory (training provided where appropriate).
- Collaborate closely with pharmacists to provide outstanding patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to quality assurance initiatives.
- Help create an efficient, welcoming environment for patients and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia. We will not respond to candidates that do not meet this minimum requirement.
- Experience with Kroll pharmacy software in a paperless workflow is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
- Interest in compounding pharmacy is an asset but not required.
