General Scope of Duties & Responsibilities:
Vac Truck Operator/Labour to work with underground crew performing various utility works; daylighting utilities, conduit installation, duct banks installation, concrete pouring, chamber installation, working with grades and vac excavation for footing installation.
- Operation of Hydro Vacuum Truck
- Driving Hydro Vacuum Truck
- Vehicle and Equipment inspection and recording
- Exposing utilities, excavations for Drill crew and Pole base excavation with Vacuum Truck
- Hoisting and rigging
- Follow direction for Foreman and participate in all safety requirements
- Ability to read drawings, and utility locates is an asset
- Keep company equipment cleaned, greased and maintained.
- Lay and connect conduit, install chambers
- Swamp for utilities
- Other general labour tasks
Experience:
2+ years of utility experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced, independently, high-change environment while managing multiple interruptions and adjustment sot priorities throughout the day.
Valid AZ or DZ Drivers License and clean driving records.
