Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Fullstack Java Developer to join their innovative team. As a Fullstack Java Developer, you will be part of the Software Development department supporting multiple project teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Fullstack Java Developer
Location: 2 days on site a week Downtown Toronto.
What's the Job?
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java and Angular technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end components to enhance user experience.
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure application reliability.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development processes.
What's Needed?
- Advanced proficiency in Java (11/17), Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
- Extensive experience with Angular (version 13 and up) and web application development.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases and RESTful API design and integration.
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development lifecycle, DevOps, and security best practices.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.
