Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, food handling, and general cleaning duties to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation and cooking tasks under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning
- Handle food items safely in accordance with food handling standards
- Support the team with food service activities, including serving and plating when needed
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies
- Help with dishwashing and waste disposal to uphold hygiene standards
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a tidy work environment at all times
Experience
- Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food preparation, and cooking techniques is a plus
- Experience with cleaning and maintaining hygiene standards in a commercial kitchen setting is desirable
- Previous roles involving food handling or hospitality will be considered an advantage
