Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to assist with our summer camp program. Duties
- Support camp activities by engaging children in educational and recreational programs
- Assist with supervising children during various camp activities, ensuring safety and inclusion
- Provide tutoring or teaching support in subjects such as reading, math, or arts and crafts
- Help facilitate group games, outdoor activities, and creative projects
- Foster a positive and encouraging environment to promote social skills and teamwork among campers
- Assist staff with setup, cleanup, and organization of camp materials and spaces
- Serve as a positive role model demonstrating good behavior, respect, and enthusiasm
Skills
- Experience or interest in tutoring or teaching young children
- Background or training in early childhood education is a plus
- Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and needs
- Strong communication skills and patience when working with young campers
- Enthusiasm for outdoor activities, arts, crafts, or educational games
- Reliable, responsible, and able to commit to scheduled camp hours during the summer months
