Job Summary
Well respected Victoria law firm with a strong real estate practice, high standards, and strong client relationships is seeking a capable real estate conveyancer. The conveyancer should enjoy being part of a close-knit, respectful team that works hard and supports one another. Duties
- Prepare and review legal documents related to property transactions, including contracts of sale, transfer of titles, and settlement statements
- Manage the lodgment of documents with land registries and relevant authorities to ensure timely registration of property transfers
- Liaise with clients, real estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other stakeholders to coordinate transaction progress
- Conduct thorough searches of land titles, planning certificates, and other relevant property information
- Facilitate the settlement process by coordinating with financial institutions, solicitors, and vendors to ensure smooth completion
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and correspondence in accordance with legal standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Conveyancer or in a similar property law role with a strong understanding of conveyancing procedures
- Knowledge of land registry systems, property legislation, and relevant legal frameworks
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills for liaising effectively with clients and industry professionals
- Attention to detail coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment
- Relevant qualifications or licensing in conveyancing or legal practice preferred

Pay: $55,833.94-$86,000.00 per year
