Job Description
A key role at the heart of the plant’s operations and smooth functioning
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Administrative Technician plays a central role in coordinating the site’s administrative and operational activities.
As a true organizational pillar, you ensure the smooth flow of daily operations by supporting the production, maintenance, and warehousing teams, while contributing to a structured, efficient, and performance-oriented work environment.

Support field teams by streamlining administrative processes and reducing friction

Ensure the smooth flow of information and internal communications
Your main responsibilities:
Office Coordination
-
Greet visitors and ensure professional handling of incoming communications (mail, requests, etc.)

Manage indirect purchases (supplies, equipment, employee items) and prepare purchase orders
-
Prepare various administrative documents (correspondence, presentations, reports, posters)
-
Set up and maintain filing and archiving systems (paper and electronic)
-
Ensure the organization and smooth operation of common areas
-
Process expense reports and support related administrative processes
-
Plan and coordinate internal events (recognition, corporate activities, etc.)
Support for the Manufacturing Team
-
Manage the procurement of supplies and equipment needed for operations (PPE, maintenance, production)
-
Manage production-related documentation
-
Serve as a liaison with corporate departments (payroll, leave, expenses)
-
Coordinate internal administrative processes (e.g., leave scheduling)
-
Support teams with various operational administrative tasks
-
Travel occasionally between sites as needed
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
-
College diploma in administration or equivalent
-
1 to 3 years of experience in administrative support in a manufacturing environment
-
Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
-
Bilingualism (French/English, spoken and written) to support our operations outside of Quebec
-
Valid driver’s license
-
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
-
Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and time management
-
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
-
Independence, initiative, and strong adaptability
