We are looking for an outgoing and positive dining room server to work Friday-Sunday at an upscale retirement Condominium at Parklawn & Lakesore area in Etobicoke, by the beautiful shores of Lake Ontario. You will report to the Dining Room Manger & Assistant Manager.
Qualifications
Grade 12 education/ 2 years serving experience/Smart Serve
Must always be in proper attire and well-groomed.
Must complete WHMIS on hire.
Server Duties
The dining room server will have a positive attitude and enjoy working with seniors.
Verify daily feature menus and assist with table assignments.
Ability to describe menu, daily special, ingredients, portion sizes and pricing to guests.
Serve food and beverages to guests according to professional standards and observing special dietary restrictions and preferences.
Address concerns and complaints in a professional and respectful manner. Remain calm under pressure.
Clear tables, reset, restock supplies, complete cleaning assignments.
Complete daily job routine and cleaning schedule as assigned.
Good working knowledge of cocktail drinks and wines.
Learn to be proficient at our Jonas POS system.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
