We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient eCommerce Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with WooCommerce, Microsoft Excel and expertise in managing the importing and exporting of large amounts of product data.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Data Management:
- Create, update, and manage product listings, descriptions, images, and pricing.
- Oversee the importing and exporting of product data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Ensure product information is clear, accurate, and engaging to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Perform regular audits of product data to ensure data integrity.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure product availability.
- Implement processes to manage stock levels, reorder points, and stock discrepancies.
Discounts and Promotions:
- Develop and implement discount strategies and promotional campaigns to drive sales.
- Set up and manage promotional codes, flash sales, and other marketing initiatives.
- Analyze the effectiveness of promotions and adjust strategies accordingly.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Generate and analyze sales and performance reports to identify trends and opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize product listings and sales strategies.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure product promotions and campaigns are effectively executed.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for product information, updates, and discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with WooCommerce, including advanced knowledge of its features and capabilities.
- Proficiency in using Excel and strong technical skills in acquiring and managing large amounts of product information through importing and exporting processes.
- Understanding of eCommerce best practices and trends.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience as an eCommerce Specialist or in marketing is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) is a plus.
- Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing strategies.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web design principles.
- Experience with inventory management software and accounting tools.
