Heavy General Labour (Temporary/Day Position)
About Our Client
Our client is one of North America's premier outdoor amusement and event entertainment providers, famous for delivering world-class carnival rides, midway games, and family-friendly experiences to millions of fairgoers every year. They are looking for hard-working, reliable individuals to join their logistics team and help bring these massive events to life.
What You Will Be Doing, as a Heavy General Labour:
- Safely load, unload, and transport heavy event materials, structural pieces, and equipment.
- Assist with the physical setup, assembly, or teardown of outdoor event fixtures and attractions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace free of hazards.
- Work collaboratively with a fast-paced team to meet strict operational deadlines.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Should Have, as a Heavy General Labour:
- Ability to perform physically demanding manual labour, including lifting up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Must wear steel-toed safety boots (PPE).
- Attention to detail.
- Good verbal communication.
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
In Return, You Will Receive:
- $20.00/hour
- Paid weekly, every Tuesday.
- 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it.
- Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends.
The Shift You Will be Working is:
- Monday morning
- 12:01 AM to 7:00 AM (Overnight/Early Morning)
- This is a critical, time-sensitive shift; punctuality and reliability are highly important.

- Main Intersection: 118 Ave NW & Wayne Gretzky Drive (Edmonton, AB)
- Transit Accessibility: Extremely transit-friendly! This location is highly accessible via public transit, being located just steps away from the Coliseum LRT Station and major bus routes.
