Burnside Truck Centre (BTC), a member of the Cherubini Group of Companies, is a full-service heavy trucking repair facility with dedicated automotive service bays. We proudly service the general public, commercial fleets, and Cherubini’s internal fleet of vehicles.
We are currently seeking a 4th Year Apprentice or Red Seal Automotive Service Technician to join our team.
We're looking for someone that takes pride in their work. Join us, and you'll have the ability to work independently while still benefiting from the mentorship and guidance of an experienced, highly skilled Automotive Technician.

What you'll do
- Contribute positively to the shop culture and overall safety program
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of automotive vehicles
- Service vehicles for the general public, commercial clients, and internal fleet
- Maintain accurate repair documentation and work orders
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry standards
What we're looking for
- 4th Year Automotive Apprentice or Red Seal Automotive Service Technician
- Valid Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Inspection License, or the ability to renew
- Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with confidence and accountability
- Commitment to work focused on safety and quality
- Professional, customer-focused attitude
Interest in pursuing dual trade certification (Automotive & Truck and Transport) is considered an asset and we are supportive of technicians who wish to expand their credentials.

Experience:
- Automotive repair: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Nova Scotia MVI license (preferred)
- Driver's License (preferred)
- Automotive Red Seal (preferred)
