About Us
Good Earth Coffeehouse is one of Canada’s most beloved café brands, rooted in a commitment to quality coffee, wholesome food, and warm community spaces. We operate three thriving Calgary locations, and we’re growing. We’re looking for a passionate, experienced leader to join our ownership team as Operations Manager — someone who loves the café industry, develops great people, and drives results.
The Opportunity
As Operations Manager, you are the operational backbone of our three-location café group. You’ll work directly with ownership and lead a team of Store Managers and Supervisors across all locations. Your job is to ensure every café runs at its best — from the guest experience and team culture to labour efficiency and financial performance.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in the field, not behind a desk.

- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective action plans
- Ensure full compliance with Good Earth brand standards, food safety, and health regulations
People Leadership
- Directly manage and mentor each location’s Store Manager/Supervisor
- Support Supervisors in their development toward management-level roles
- Lead performance reviews, goal-setting, and performance improvement processes

- Review weekly and monthly P&L reports for each location
- Manage labour scheduling and cost control strategies in collaboration with Store Managers
- Support ownership in budgeting, forecasting, and cost-reduction initiatives
- Analyze sales trends and recommend promotional or operational adjustments

- Serve as the primary liaison between store-level teams and ownership
- Provide regular performance updates and escalate issues proactively
- Lead weekly management meetings with Store Managers
- Implement company-wide initiatives, promotions, and menu rollouts consistently across locations
