The Role
We’re looking for a reliable & motivated Class 3A Driver & Yard Associate. With this role you will be responsible for the safe and professional operation of company equipment including a tandem flatdeck with Moffett forklift, box truck, and truck and trailer as required. You will be expected to carry out all work with a high standard of care for quality and safety, and maintain company equipment in clean and presentable condition.
Note about this role: This isn't just a driving role, you'll also be prepping and loading orders, helping in the yard and warehouse, and jumping in where the team needs you. If you’re a team player that doesn’t mind being flexible this may be the fit for you!
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate company flatdeck with Moffett, box truck, and truck and trailer
- Safely load, secure, and deliver orders to customers and transfer materials between locations
- Perform regular pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any equipment issues immediately
- Keep all assigned equipment clean and presentable
- Read and follow bills of lading, packing lists, and delivery instructions accurately
- Assist with loading customer orders, cleaning/prepping rental equipment, other warehouse and yard duties when not on the road
- Follow highway laws & safety protocols at all times

Requirements
- Valid Class 3 or Class 1 licence with Air Brake endorsement
- Clean driver’s abstract — must be able to provide on request
- Able to regularly lift 50+ lbs
- Comfortable being on your feet for most of the day
- Available for overtime as required
Assets
- Moffett or piggyback forklift experience
- Experience hauling construction/building materials
- Construction or building experience
- Basic equipment/mechanical knowledge
- Truck and trailer experience
