The mission we are proposing:
Reporting to the Supply Supervisor, the Supply Planner is responsible for ensuring effective supply planning to support production operations. The role focuses on balancing supply and demand, optimizing inventory levels, and coordinating with suppliers—including overseas partners—to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and components.
An overview of your new position
- Analyze demand forecasts and develop supply plans aligned with production needs
- Ensure availability of raw materials and components to support multi-line operations
- Manage and optimize inventory levels to minimize shortages and excess
- Coordinate supply activities with vendors, including overseas suppliers, considering lead times and logistical constraints
- Follow up with suppliers to secure deliveries and meet commitments
- Identify supply risks and implement mitigation plans proactively
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (production, logistics, procurement) to ensure operational alignment
- Maintain accurate data in systems (ERP, inventory parameters, pricing, codes)
- Analyze performance gaps and recommend continuous improvement actions
You are the ideal candidate if you have
Qualifications:
- DEC or equivalent in operations management, supply chain, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in supply planning, procurement, or inventory management
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., AS400)
- Solid understanding of inventory management principles
Assets:
- Experience working with international / overseas suppliers
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of S&OP processes
- Supply chain certification (APICS CPIM, CSCP)
